Who Is Your Enemy Workbook

$0.00

Since the Garden of Eden, mankind has had the same enemy. His name is Satan and he’s the father of lies. Since the garden he has been lying and deceiving God’s people. To overcome your enemy, you must recognize how he tries to trick you into believing his lies. Since you know he is a liar, you must not listen to anything he says; even if he tells you something you want to hear. Satan lied to Eve and told her it was ok to eat of the tree of good and evil. Since Eve really wanted to eat of the fruit; she listened to Satan.
“And when the woman saw that the tree was good (suitable, pleasant) for food and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she gave some also to her husband, and he ate.” Genesis 3:6

He was a sneaky snake in the garden and he is still sneaky today. He deceived and lied to Adam and Eve; and he lies to you so you will sin just like they did. He deceived them by telling them they could disobey God without any consequences. Sin always has a built in consequence. Our choice to sin instead of obeying God will always cause trouble in our life. The way we overcome our enemy is to know what God says so we will not be tricked by the enemy.

“Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee.” Psalm 119:11

When we know God’s Word, and agree with His Word, we will not be tricked and deceived by Satan.
